Habicht

Habicht – Acryl/Leinwand – 80x120cm

From my local mountain, I have a clear view of the Habicht peak and its icy north face—a towering giant in the Stubai Alps that nearly claimed my life. This formidable three-thousand-meter peak, long known for its treacherous ice wall and frequent rockfalls, once unleashed a massive rockslide that left me severely injured and required me to be airlifted to the hospital. And yet, despite the danger, my thoughts of this mountain remain as beautiful and free as the hawk it’s named after.
